US Military Completes Latest Wave of Strikes Against Iranian Targets
The US military announced it has completed its latest series of strikes against multiple targets in Iran. Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that American forces employed precision weaponry to attack command centers, air defense systems, missile sites, drones, and coastal surveillance facilities at several locations, including the city of Bandar Abbas near the Strait of Hormuz. According to the US military, the operation aimed to degrade Iran's capability to threaten commercial shipping in the strategic strait. Earlier, a first wave of attacks lasting an hour and a half targeted coastal defense installations and cruise missile sites on Tonb Island.
