A serious security incident occurred today, Thursday, during an operational activity by Israeli forces in the area of Jenin, which is under the Menashe Brigade sector. During the fighting in the area, an explosive device was detonated against the forces operating there. As a result of the blast, an IDF officer was seriously wounded and an IDF senior NCO was lightly wounded. The wounded soldiers received initial treatment in the field and were later evacuated to a hospital for medical care. The IDF said their families had been informed of the incident.
