IDF: Officer Seriously Wounded, NCO Lightly Hurt by Explosive Device in Jenin
An officer and a noncommissioned officer were wounded today (Thursday), one seriously and one lightly, as a result of the explosion of an explosive device during an IDF operation in the city of Jenin in northern Samaria. The officer and the NCO were evacuated for medical treatment at a hospital, and their families have been notified, the IDF said. The incident occurred after the force identified a suspicious object, but it is not yet possible to determine what caused the device to explode.
