IDF and Shin Bet Kill Hamas Military Commander Involved in Daniel Peretz Kidnapping
On Wednesday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Shin Bet eliminated Muhammad Naeem Jandia, the military security chief of the Shuja'iya Brigade in Hamas's military wing, in northern Gaza Strip. Jandia played a key role during the October 7 massacre, leading the assault team that attacked Kibbutz Nahal Oz and participated in the kidnapping of Captain Daniel Peretz, who was later killed. Following the abduction, Jandia also held captive Yotam Haim, Samer Al-Talalka, and Alon Shmoriz, all of whom were killed by IDF fire during rescue attempts.
