Golani Brigade Concludes Seven-Month Operation in Southern Lebanon
The Golani Brigade's combat team, operating under Division 36, has completed a seven-month mission in southern Lebanon and is now withdrawing for rest and replenishment. During their deployment, soldiers operated in the Beaufort Ridge area and conducted a focused operation to destroy Hezbollah terror infrastructure along the Litani River.
Forces destroyed over 900 terror targets, including explosive drones, IEDs, and RPGs. Colonel Iyyov Kof, commander of the Golani Brigade, stated that the fighting came at a heavy price but yielded results, enabling civilians in northern Israel to resume their lives with open businesses and functioning kindergartens. He affirmed that this was the objective for which they fought and continue to fight.
