Golani Brigade Concludes Seven-Month Mission in Southern Lebanon
The Israeli military's Golani Brigade has completed a seven-month operational mission in southern Lebanon, the IDF spokesperson's unit announced. The brigade, operating under the 36th Division, has been withdrawn for rest and recuperation. In recent months, its units were active in the Beaufort Ridge area. Most recently, they concluded a localized operation targeting Hezbollah infrastructure near the Litani River.
According to the IDF, during the mission, over 900 Hezbollah-related infrastructure sites were destroyed, and weapons caches were discovered. The military reported finding RPGs, explosive devices, attack drones, and Kalashnikov rifles among the seized weaponry.
