Golani Brigade Destroys Over 400 Terror Infrastructure Sites in Southern Lebanon

The Golani Brigade, operating under Division 36 in southern Lebanon, has destroyed more than 400 terror infrastructure sites in recent weeks as part of ongoing efforts to neutralize threats against Israel. The brigade's combat teams have uncovered and eliminated numerous weapons caches, including anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles, explosives, Kalashnikov rifles, and mortar shells. This operation aims to prevent Hezbollah from attacking Israeli civilians and military forces.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) emphasized that these actions are part of a broader campaign to maintain security along the border and will continue as long as threats persist. In July, Golani forces discovered and destroyed Hezbollah weapons warehouses containing launchers, machine guns, explosives, and missiles intended for attacks against Israel. Similar raids in April uncovered additional ammunition stockpiles and armed militants who were neutralized in close combat and drone strikes.

A significant operation in March involved targeted raids that eliminated eight armed militants, including a sniper affiliated with Hezbollah's Radwan Force. The forces also destroyed an underground tunnel complex used by militants, which contained dozens of weapons. Another major offensive began in late May in the Bofor Ridge and Nahal Saluki areas, involving multiple brigades and intelligence units. This operation expanded Israel's forward defense line, capturing strategic ridges and dismantling extensive Hezbollah infrastructure, which Israeli Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi described as a "terror infrastructure hub" funded and directed by Iran.

The IDF reiterated its commitment to upholding the ceasefire agreement while actively preventing Hezbollah from threatening Israeli territory and citizens.
