Golani Brigade Concludes Seven Months of Operations in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has released bodycam footage showcasing the Golani Brigade's operations in southern Lebanon over the past seven months. The elite infantry unit concluded its mission in the region, focusing on areas like the Beaufort Ridge and the Litani River, and is now heading for rest and retraining.

During their deployment under the command of the 36th Division, Golani forces engaged in combat aimed at eliminating threats to Israel. Their operations included a targeted campaign along the Litani River to destroy terrorist infrastructure. According to the IDF, the brigade destroyed over 900 Hezbollah terror facilities and located significant caches of weapons, including RPGs, explosives, explosive drones, and Kalashnikov rifles.

Brigade Commander Colonel Ido Keif addressed the troops at the conclusion of the mission, reflecting on the long period of fighting and the heavy price paid by the brigade. He emphasized the Golani spirit of always winning and never breaking, while maintaining humanity even in the face of the enemy. Keif stated that the fighting ensured that Israeli communities could continue their lives, with businesses open and children attending daycare.

The IDF released the footage and details of the operation on a Wednesday, highlighting the successful completion of the brigade's extensive mission in southern Lebanon.
