Osem-Nestle Recalls Ketchup Bottles Due to Spicy Mix-Up
Osem-Nestle is initiating a recall of a small portion of its 750-gram Classic Ketchup bottles because they contain spicy ketchup instead. The affected products are identified by batch number 62022828 and have a last marketing date of July 21, 2027.
According to Osem, the product is safe for consumption, with the only difference being the taste. However, because the contents do not match the label, the company is collecting the affected bottles from the market. Consumers who return the product will receive a voucher for a replacement.
The Food Service division of the Ministry of Health in the Ashkelon district has been informed, and the company is proceeding with the product recall.
