Osem-Nestle Recalls Classic Ketchup Bottles Mistakenly Filled with Spicy Variety
Osem-Nestle announced on Tuesday a recall of a specific batch of its classic 750-gram ketchup bottles due to a packaging error. A small number of bottles from batch 62022828, with an expiration date of July 21, 2027, between 10 PM and 11:59 PM, were mistakenly filled with spicy ketchup instead of the classic variety.
The company emphasized that the product is safe for consumption, with the only difference being the taste. However, because the contents do not match the label, Osem-Nestle is initiating a voluntary recall to remove the affected bottles from the market. The Ashkelon district branch of the Health Ministry's Food Service has been informed of the incident.
