IDF Eliminates Key Hamas Financial Operative in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced yesterday the elimination of Shadi Abu Hatzeira in Gaza City. Abu Hatzeira was identified as a terrorist and a central money changer for Hamas's military wing, involved in transferring millions of shekels to the terror organization. According to the IDF spokesperson, Abu Hatzeira led the "Geneva" exchange network, which funneled tens of millions of foreign currency to Hamas's military arm. These funds were reportedly used to finance terrorists, rebuild military infrastructure, and advance terror plots against Israeli forces.

In parallel to his financial activities, Abu Hatzeira was also engaged in trade within the Gaza Strip and managed the company "Gardena Professional," which facilitated his money transfer operations. The IDF stated that the operation to eliminate Abu Hatzeira was part of ongoing efforts to disrupt Hamas's financial infrastructure.
