Israel Revokes Diplomatic Status for Dutch Officials in Ramallah
Israel has ordered Dutch diplomats stationed in Ramallah to return their Israeli-issued diplomatic documentation within seven days, after which their immunities and rights in Israel will expire. Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar informed the Dutch Embassy of the decision, which comes in response to measures taken by the Dutch government against Israel.
These measures include a prohibition on the import and trade of goods originating from the West Bank, East Jerusalem, and the Golan Heights. The Israeli government views these actions as detrimental to its interests and has chosen to retaliate by revoking the diplomatic status of the Dutch representatives operating in the Palestinian territories.
