Hostages Freed Celebrate Terrorist Who Held Them Captive Killed

Former hostages are celebrating the killing of a Hamas terrorist, Mohammed Hamad Mohammed Jabein, who held nine captives during their captivity. Among those expressing relief and joy were Liri Albag, Aviva and Keith Siegel, and Tzvi Mor, the father of hostage Eitan Mor.

Albag, who was held captive for nearly a year, posted on Instagram, "Rot in hell. You scoundrel. How great that you are no longer here. Remember our argument about who would go to hell? It's fun to know we were right even now." She added, "When good news like this arrives, you can't hide the smile." She also noted the "crazy full circle" of his death and expressed a desire to share more about him.

Aviva and Keith Siegel, abducted from their home in Kibbutz Kfar Aza on October 7, stated, "It is good that he was eliminated and no longer poses a threat. In moments like this, we think of the security forces, you are proof that even after the most difficult crises, we continue to rise and ensure that the people of Israel continue to exist and grow."

Tzvi Mor, father of Eitan Mor, said, "We are happy that justice has been done and happy that this cursed terrorist will no longer be able to murder and kidnap more Israelis."

The Israel Defense Forces and the Shin Bet security agency announced last week that forces killed Jabein in northern Gaza. He was identified as a commander in Hamas's military wing and was responsible for holding hostages Ziv and Gali Berman, Eitan Mor, Liri Albag, Agam Berger, Matan Angrest, Omri Miran, Keith Siegel, and Alon Ohl.

Jabein had held the hostages for approximately one year. The former captives expressed that they did not want to give him any more words, only to smile and tell him to "rot in hell."
