Man Charged With Murdering Caucasian Mafia Head in Cold Blood

Prosecutors have filed an indictment against Doron Weizman, a 54-year-old resident of Beit She'an, for the murder of Yanis Yushbayev. The indictment, submitted Friday to the Haifa District Court, details how Weizman allegedly shot Yushbayev at a restaurant in Caesarea. According to the charges, Weizman and the victim did not know each other prior to the incident. Weizman allegedly armed himself and drove to the restaurant in a stolen car with forged license plates. He ordered food and waited for Yushbayev to arrive.

When Yushbayev exited the restaurant with friends, Weizman reportedly followed him, approached, aimed his weapon at the victim's head, and fired at close range. Yushbayev collapsed at the scene and was pronounced dead. Weizman then fled in the vehicle. The prosecution stated in its request for continued detention that Weizman has 38 prior convictions and has served lengthy prison sentences in the past.

The prosecution described the actions as carried out with "freezing composure, after prior planning, in broad daylight, in a crowded restaurant." They emphasized that Weizman's "calmly sitting in the restaurant, waiting for the victim, indicate freezing composure and prior planning." Weizman faces charges including murder with aggravating circumstances, weapons offenses, and driving without a valid license or insurance. The prosecution is seeking his remand until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
