Netanyahu Returns to Israel After UN Address and US Visit
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, accompanied by his wife Sara and a delegation, departed the United States for Israel on Friday, September 25th, according to his office. Netanyahu's brief visit to the U.S. centered on his address at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
During his speech, Netanyahu addressed the war against Iran and its allies, the events of October 7th, and the ongoing conflict in Gaza. He also sharply criticized Qatar, Turkey, and New York City Mayor Eric Adams. Prior to his UN address, Netanyahu held meetings with the prime ministers of Greece and Slovenia.
The visit, which lasted less than 24 hours, was one of Netanyahu's shortest trips to the United States. It was previously announced that the prime minister intended to return to Israel shortly after completing his New York schedule.
