Israel's Ambassador to the United Nations, Danny Danon, sharply criticized French President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday, calling his recent statement that "Hamas has never been active in Judea and Samaria" a "disgrace."
Speaking on Channel 14's morning program, Danon stated that Macron "knows the facts, yet still clings to his theory and tries to be relevant." Danon's remarks followed a similar strong condemnation from the Prime Minister's Office, which referenced the murder of Natanel Shkaron, a French citizen and father of six, in a terrorist attack in the Benjamin region.
