IDF Arrests Two Terrorists Planning Imminent Attack During Yom Kippur

During the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) apprehended two terrorists in the West Bank town of Qabatiya, in the northern Samaria region. The individuals were reportedly planning an imminent attack. The arrests were carried out by the IDF's Duvdevan Unit.

In separate operations during the holiday, the Paratroopers' reconnaissance unit detained wanted individuals and discovered materials intended for the creation of explosives. Concurrently, the IDF mapped the home of a terrorist who murdered Natanel Sharon, a father of six, on the eve of Yom Kippur in the village of Biddu.

Further operations by the IDF's Binyamin Brigade in Biddu involved searching 100 locations, interrogating 90 suspects, and confiscating a hunting rifle. The Duvdevan Unit also located a lathe and weapons in Beit 'Ur al-Tahta. The Ephraim Brigade interrogated over 80 suspects across various villages during the holiday period.
