Duvdevan Unit Arrests Terrorists Planning Imminent Attack During Yom Kippur

During the Yom Kippur holiday, Israeli special forces from the Duvdevan unit apprehended two terrorists in Qabatiya who were planning an immediate attack. The operation was part of broader counter-terrorism efforts by the IDF across Judea and Samaria during the Jewish day of atonement.

In addition to the arrests in Qabatiya, located in the Menashe Brigade sector, further operations yielded significant findings. In the village of Biddu, within the Benjamin Brigade sector, forces mapped the home of a terrorist responsible for the murder of Natanel Shkaron. During a wider brigade operation in Biddu, approximately 100 locations were searched, 90 suspects were interrogated, and a hunting rifle was discovered.

Further searches by Duvdevan forces in Beit Ur al-Tahta uncovered a lathe, two Carlo-type firearms, and additional weaponry. In the Menashe Brigade sector, the Paratroopers Reconnaissance Unit also conducted operations, interrogating suspects, arresting wanted individuals, and locating materials intended for the production of explosives.

Simultaneously, forces from the Ephraim Brigade operated in villages within their sector, interrogating over 80 suspects as part of the ongoing security measures.
