Duvdevan Unit Arrests Five Terrorists Planning Attack
Duvdevan unit soldiers apprehended a cell of five terrorists in the Qabatiya area, under the command of the Menashe Brigade, early Friday morning. The cell was reportedly planning an attack against Israeli civilians and security forces. The operation followed intelligence efforts by the Shin Bet.
The soldiers apprehended the suspects within ten minutes of entering the suspected locations. The IDF stated that the five terrorists were involved in advancing terror plots. Following searches of the terrorists' homes, security forces seized an M16 rifle and additional weaponry that had been hidden.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the operation, stating, "I congratulate our forces on a successful operation in Samaria where they destroyed dozens of weapons manufacturing workshops, seized dozens of weapons, and arrested wanted individuals involved in terror. Our counter-terrorism efforts continue with full force in Judea and Samaria, Gaza, Lebanon, and wherever our enemies try to threaten the State of Israel."
