Duvdevan Unit Thwarts Terror Cell Planning Attack in West Bank
Duvdevan unit soldiers apprehended five terrorists early Friday morning who were planning an attack against Israeli civilians and security forces. The operation took place in the Qabatiya area, within the Menashe Brigade's sector, following intelligence efforts by the Shin Bet security agency. Soldiers simultaneously raided multiple locations where the cell members were present.
All five terrorists were arrested within ten minutes of the forces entering the targets. The IDF stated that the cell members were involved in advancing attacks against Jews. During searches of the terrorists' homes, forces discovered an M16 rifle and additional weaponry that had been hidden. The weapons were confiscated and transferred for examination by security officials.
The five terrorists were taken for further interrogation to uncover their plans, connections, and any additional individuals who assisted them in advancing the planned attack.
