The story · English

Police in the Samaria region are investigating an Arab journalist in her 30s, suspected of collaborating with Iran. The journalist, a resident of Beitunia, is accused of trading with the enemy, incitement, and supporting a hostile organization. A court has extended her detention by seven days.

According to police, the suspect works as a reporter for a channel allegedly linked to Iran. The investigation, conducted by the anti-crime unit in the Samaria region in cooperation with other security agencies, is examining the nature of her connection to Iran, as well as suspicions of identifying with and inciting terrorism.

The journalist was arrested several days ago and brought before a judge on September 16th, who ordered her detention extended until September 23rd. Police stated that the investigation is ongoing and that law enforcement and security agencies will continue to act against incitement and support for terrorism.
