Teen Dies After Being Run Over, Shot in Northern Israel Shopping Center
A 17-year-old boy was killed early this morning in a violent incident at the "Ha'Hof Village" shopping complex in Hadera, northern Israel. According to police, the incident began with a confrontation between individuals, during which the teenager was struck by a vehicle. Subsequently, shots were fired at the scene.
The victim was found unconscious with severe head injuries. Paramedics attempted resuscitation efforts and transported him to Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in Hadera, where his death was pronounced. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries from the gunfire and was taken for medical treatment.
Initial police investigations indicate that the altercation preceded the ramming and shooting. A large police force from the Hadera station arrived at the scene, collected evidence, and launched an investigation into the circumstances. Following an assessment, the investigation has been transferred to the central unit of the Menashe region.
Police stated that the motive for the incident is criminal and there is no suspicion of a nationalistic terror attack. The investigation is ongoing.
