Israel Warns Against Unlicensed Private Parking Services at Ben Gurion Airport
The Israel Airports Authority has issued a warning to the public regarding unauthorized private valet parking services operating at Ben Gurion Airport. On Thursday, September 17, the Authority stated that private companies advertising parking services, claiming they will park vehicles at or near the airport terminal, are not authorized to conduct such business at Ben Gurion.
The Authority clarified that it has no affiliation with these private companies. Passengers who have used these unauthorized services have reported damage to their vehicles, receiving fines, and experiencing difficulties in contacting the companies after entrusting them with their cars. The Authority noted that after providing the service, representatives of these private companies become unreachable.
Travelers are advised to use public transportation to reach Ben Gurion Airport or to utilize the official parking facilities managed by the Israel Airports Authority.
