Airport Authority Warns Against Unauthorized Private Parking Services at Ben Gurion Airport
The Israel Airports Authority has issued a public warning against using private valet parking services offered to travelers arriving at Ben Gurion Airport (TLV). The authority strongly recommends that the public utilize public transportation or the official Airports Authority parking lots instead.
According to the authority, private entities advertising parking and pick-up services, claiming to operate within or adjacent to the airport terminal, are not authorized to conduct such operations. These unauthorized services have been linked to reported incidents of vehicle damage, traffic tickets, fines, and difficulties in obtaining recourse from the service providers.
The Airports Authority emphasized that these private operators are not affiliated with them and their activities are not sanctioned. Passengers who have used these services have reported negative experiences, including damage to their vehicles and issues with receiving customer support after handing over their cars.
