Air Canada Resumes Direct Flights to Tel Aviv Ahead of Schedule
Air Canada has announced it will resume direct flights between Toronto and Tel Aviv earlier than previously planned. The airline had suspended the route following the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war in October 2023. The resumption of service is set to begin on March 24, 2024, earlier than the initially scheduled April 1, 2024.
This decision comes amid a reassessment of the security situation by the Canadian carrier. Air Canada stated that it is continuously monitoring the situation in Israel and will adjust its operations as needed. The resumption of flights is expected to facilitate travel for passengers between Canada and Israel.
