Four Arrested for Attempted Drug Smuggling Across Jordanian Border
Israeli police have filed indictments against four individuals suspected of attempting to smuggle drugs across the border with Jordan. The group included two brothers from northern Israel, one of whom is a minor, and two residents of southern Israel.
On August 22, the four were identified near the border fence. They were observed throwing 36 packages, containing approximately 20 kilograms of hashish, into the Jordanian side of the border. The suspects attempted to flee the scene but were apprehended by IDF soldiers.
The indictments were filed following the investigation and arrest of the individuals.
