IDF Eliminates Hamas Rocket Unit Leader Involved in October 7th Kibbutz Nir Oz Attack
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the elimination of a Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative, Mohsen Farid Said Abu Hadaf, who participated in the October 7th attack on Kibbutz Nir Oz. The strike occurred last weekend in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
According to the IDF, Abu Hadaf led a rocket cell within Islamic Jihad and was responsible for advancing terror plans against Israeli forces and civilians, systematically violating the ceasefire. His elimination was carried out to neutralize the threat he posed.
The military stated that measures were taken to minimize civilian harm prior to the strike, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
