Shaare Zedek Medical Center said singer Yonatan Razel was discharged this morning from the Jerusalem hospital to his home in good condition after several weeks of hospitalization for a brain hemorrhage. His treatment included extensive supportive care from Shaare Zedek’s brain unit teams, as is typical in such cases.
According to the hospital, Razel was treated by the neurological intensive care unit led by Dr. Stephan Mausbach, together with the neuro-radiology team headed by Dr. Yaakov Amsalem and the neurosurgery department under Dr. Nevo Margalit.
The hospital said that because of the “rapid and professional diagnosis and treatment” Razel received upon arrival, and the support he received throughout his stay, “he returned to normal and full functioning.” It added congratulations to Razel and his family on their discharge and wished him “complete health and continued creation and contribution to our culture.”
Razel’s family thanked God “for the visible miracles,” thanked the people of Israel for their prayers and concern, and expressed special appreciation to the Shaare Zedek staff, doctors, and nurses for their devoted care.
