Maccabi Tel Aviv Dominates Rival in Derby Win, Maccabi Haifa Also Scores Four

Maccabi Tel Aviv decisively defeated Hapoel Tel Aviv 4-1 in a heated derby match at Bloomfield Stadium on Monday. The game was marked by five goals, a red card, and a temporary stoppage due to flares and heavy smoke, which delayed the start of play. Hapoel Tel Aviv initially held more possession, but Maccabi Tel Aviv took the lead in the 19th minute with a close-range finish from Dor Peretz. Hapoel equalized in the 33rd minute through Turiél after a counter-attack. However, Maccabi quickly regained the lead just three minutes later when Davida scored against his former club. Pedro Brazão added a second in the 56th minute, followed by a third goal in the 66th minute, and Tsunami sealed the 4-0 win in the 86th minute. Kiryat Shmona failed to score.
