Israeli Windsurfers Dominate World Championships with Gold and Silver
Israeli athlete Tamar Steinberg has been crowned world champion in windsurfing at the World Championships in England, crossing the finish line first to secure the gold medal. She was joined on the podium by fellow Israeli Sharon Kantor, a silver medalist and Olympic runner-up. Another Israeli competitor, Daniela Peleg, finished in fourth place after qualifying for the finals.
The success extends to the men's category, where Tom Reuveny, an Olympic champion from Paris, has also qualified for the finals. He is set to compete against three other sailors for a medal in England.
