IDF Eliminates Hamas Khan Yunis Brigade Commander in Precision Strike
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on Tuesday the elimination of Muhammad Yazouri, the commander of Hamas's Khan Yunis brigade, in a precise airstrike in the Khan Yunis area of the Gaza Strip. Yazouri was responsible for leading the brigade's militants and advancing terror plans against Israeli forces.
In the same strike, two additional Hamas operatives were killed. Yazouri's role extended beyond direct combat leadership; he was also involved in the reconstruction efforts of Hamas's military infrastructure in Khan Yunis, a significant hub for the organization.
The IDF stated that Yazouri's elimination is a significant blow to Hamas's operational capabilities in the southern Gaza Strip. His command position placed him at the forefront of planning and executing attacks against Israel, making his removal a key objective for Israeli security forces.
