Israel Strikes Gaza, Reports Killing Hamas Khan Yunis Brigade Commander
The Israeli military conducted airstrikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip on Friday. Reports from Israeli sources indicated that the Israeli army killed the commander of Hamas's Khan Yunis brigade during the night between Thursday and Friday. One person was injured in Khan Yunis as a result of the strikes.
These actions are part of ongoing alleged violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza by Israeli forces, which include aerial and artillery shelling, gunfire, and the demolition of homes in different parts of the Strip.
On Thursday, nine people were killed, including four members of the same family, and others were injured due to Israeli airstrikes and gunfire across Gaza. These incidents occurred amidst continued Israeli breaches of the ceasefire that has been in effect in the Strip since October 10, 2025.
