The commander, identified by Arab media as Abu Riyad Kamil, was reportedly involved in planning and advancing terror operations against Israeli forces operating in Gaza. This strike follows repeated violations and attacks by Hamas militants, including an assault on Israeli troops in northern Gaza the previous night.
