Jordanian Border Arms Smuggling Attempt Foiled, 36 Weapons Seized

Security forces successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle weapons across the eastern border, arresting two suspects believed to be involved in the operation. The suspects, identified as residents of Jericho, were apprehended during an ambush set up by joint security forces along the Jordanian border. Authorities seized a significant cache of weapons from the suspects, including 34 pistols and two M-16 rifles.

The operation was the result of coordinated surveillance and ambush tactics employed by the security forces in the border region. Following their arrest, the suspects were transferred to the central unit in the Judea and Samaria region for further investigation into their alleged roles in the smuggling attempt.
