Israel Weather: Temperatures Return to Seasonal Norms on September 11

On Friday, September 11, Israel is expected to experience a slight drop in temperatures across the country, most notably along the coastal plain, in low-lying areas, and in the Negev Desert. Thermometer readings will approach typical seasonal averages, though significant heat will persist in the Kinneret region, the Jordan Valley, and the Arava. Following morning cloud dissipation, the weather will become clear and comfortable.

Meteorologists have warned of high to very high solar activity, advising outdoor visitors to take precautions. Winds will be light, and atmospheric pressure will remain stable. The night sky is predicted to be clear over all regions.

Temperatures are forecast as follows: Jerusalem 17-30°C, Tel Aviv 24-31°C, Haifa 24-30°C, Be'er Sheva 22-33°C, Safed 19-31°C, Katzrin 20-34°C, Tiberias 22-35°C, Nazareth 22-33°C, Afula 21-34°C, Beit She'an 24-37°C, Lod 23-32°C, Ashdod 23-31°C, Ein Gedi 26-36°C, Mitzpe Ramon 20-32°C, and Eilat 28-38°C.

The Mediterranean Sea will see light swells ranging from 30 to 70 cm, with water temperatures around 30°C. Water temperatures will be 31°C in the Kinneret, 30°C in the Dead Sea, and 28°C in the Red Sea near Eilat.
