Israel Weather Forecast: Slight Temperature Drop Before Holiday Meal

Following morning cloud dissipation on Friday, the weather in Israel is expected to become fair. A slight drop in temperatures is anticipated later in the day, before the holiday meal, particularly in the coastal plain, the Shephelah, and the Negev, with temperatures remaining typical for the season. The night will be clear. The maximum predicted solar radiation index is high to very high, with extreme heat stress expected in the Kinneret area, Jordan Valley, and Arava. The Mediterranean Sea will be calm to wavy, with wave heights ranging from 30 to 70 cm.

On Saturday, the first day of the Hebrew year 5727 (Tishrei 1), temperatures will remain largely unchanged. The morning will feature clouds that will dissipate later, leading to fair weather. Sunday will see a slight increase in temperatures, making them slightly above the seasonal average, especially in the mountains and inland areas. Heat stress is also expected to intensify.

On Monday, temperatures will not change significantly.
