Israel Weather Forecast: Seasonal Temperatures Return Amid Extreme Heat Warnings
Israel is expected to experience a return to seasonal average temperatures across most of the country, following a slight dip, particularly in mountainous and inland areas. However, significant heat warnings are in effect for several regions.
Extreme heat stress is forecast for the Kinneret Valley, Jordan Valley, and the Arava desert region. Additionally, heavy heat stress is anticipated in the southern Golan Heights and its slopes, the northern valleys, Lower Galilee, the coastal plain, the Dead Sea coast, and the northern Negev desert.
The weather will be clear to partly cloudy during the day and night. Overnight conditions will also be clear to partly cloudy.
Today's forecasted high temperatures range from 20°C (68°F) in Jerusalem and Safed to 39°C (102°F) in Eilat. Other notable highs include Tel Aviv at 32°C (90°F), Haifa at 31°C (88°F), Tiberias at 35°C (95°F), and Be'er Sheva at 34°C (93°F).
