Israel Weather: Heat Eases in Most Areas, Some Regions Remain Hot
On Thursday, September 10th, Israel is experiencing a slight decrease in temperatures across most of the country, particularly in mountainous and inland regions. While thermometers are returning to seasonal norms, some areas will continue to face extreme heat. The day is forecast to be clear with variable cloudiness in places.
Extreme heat is expected to persist in the Galilee Sea valley, the Jordan River valley, and the Arava region. High temperatures are also predicted for the southern Golan Heights and its slopes, northern valleys, Lower Galilee, the Coastal Plain, the Dead Sea coast, and the northern Negev.
Winds will be light, up to 5 m/s, and solar activity remains high. Temperatures in Jerusalem are expected to range from 30°C to 20°C, Tel Aviv from 32°C to 23°C, and Haifa from 31°C to 23°C. Other cities like Beersheba will see highs of 34°C, and Eilat will reach 39°C.
The Mediterranean Sea will be 31°C, calm with light waves of 40-80 cm. The Sea of Galilee (Kinneret) water temperature is 32°C, the Dead Sea is 31°C, and the Red Sea is 28°C.
