Health Ministry Recalls Shakedia Jams Over Unusual Texture and Smell
Israel's Ministry of Health, in coordination with the Central District Food Service, has issued an urgent recall for two "Shakedia" brand jam products due to consumer complaints about atypical texture and smell. The affected products are "Strawberry Fruit Delight" and "4 Fruit Delight," both packaged in 284-gram jars.
The recall was announced on Thursday and involves products with an expiration date of April 7, 2028. The specific barcodes for the recalled items are 7290016276756 and 7290019297420.
The importer, Dean Marketing and Roasting Ltd., is working to collect the products from shelves and has urged customers who purchased them not to consume them. The jams are manufactured by Linwei Dashen Food Co., Ltd. in Shandong, China.
