Israeli Health Ministry Recalls Popular Njoy and Joicy Soft Drinks Over Health Risks
The Israeli Ministry of Health has issued an urgent recall warning for soft drinks under the Njoy and Joicy brands after inspectors discovered an unlicensed beverage production facility in the city of Tira. The factory, operating without a legal manufacturing license, was found to have extremely poor hygiene and production conditions that pose a health risk to consumers. The recall specifically targets Njoy drinks produced by MG and marketed by Daas Group, including flavors such as grape, apple, mango, lemon mint, grapefruit, orange, and strawberry banana. Additionally, the Joicy grape-flavored product, also produced and packaged by Daas Group, is included in the warning. Authorities have confiscated the products found at the factory, and the owner has been summoned for an immediate hearing to determine further enforcement actions. The Ministry of Health's Food Service emphasized its ongoing commitment to preventing illegal food and beverage production and marketing, pledging to continue working with law enforcement agencies to take all necessary measures.
