Israeli Authorities Warn Public Over Illegal Soft Drink Brands Njoy and Joicy
During a joint inspection and enforcement operation by the Central District Food Service and the Israel Police, an illegal soft drink manufacturing plant was discovered operating in violation of the law. Seizure orders were issued against the plant, and the owner was summoned for an immediate hearing ahead of further enforcement actions. The prohibited products include various flavors of the Njoy brand (grape, apple, mango, lemon mint, grapefruit, orange, and strawberry banana), produced by MG and upgraded and marketed by Daas Group. Additionally, a grape-flavored drink under the Joicy brand, produced and packaged by Daas Group, was also found to be illegal. The Ministry of Health stated that supervision will continue against unlawful food production and marketing, and all available measures will be taken in cases of regulatory violations.
