Israeli Health Ministry Warns Against Popular Njoy and Joicy Drinks Over Health Risks

The Israeli Ministry of Health issued a serious warning on Thursday advising the public not to consume soft drinks from the brands Njoy and Joicy. This alert follows a joint inspection in the city of Tira, where authorities discovered a beverage manufacturing facility operating without a production license and under poor sanitary conditions that could endanger public health.

The inspection, conducted by food inspectors from the Central District and the Israel Police, revealed particularly unsanitary production conditions. As a result, the Ministry of Health issued seizure orders for the products found at the site, and the factory owner was summoned for an immediate hearing to determine further enforcement actions.

The warning specifically targets several flavored drinks under the Njoy brand, including grape, apple, mango, lemon-mint, grapefruit, orange, and strawberry-banana flavors. These products were manufactured by MG and marketed by Daas Group. Additionally, the ministry cautioned against consuming a grape-flavored drink from the Joicy brand, produced and packaged by Dass Group.

The Ministry emphasized the importance of avoiding these products due to health concerns and stated that food services will continue monitoring and enforcing regulations against unauthorized food and beverage production and marketing.
