Yaakov Buzaglo Sets Fees for Interviews

Former Israeli footballer Yaakov Buzaglo has announced he will charge for interviews, citing a need to be compensated for his time and expertise. Buzaglo, who has been less available for media appearances since leaving Israel, explained his decision in a Facebook post.

"I'm tired of saying no. From now on, there's just a price. I'm tired of saying no!" Buzaglo wrote. He expressed frustration with constant requests for interviews, stating that his time is not free and he needs to earn a living. "They always turn to me and ask me to come to the studio for an interview, to sit, to talk, to express my opinion as if my time is worthless and as if I don't need to make a living," he added.

Buzaglo detailed his new fee structure: 15,000 shekels for studio interviews up to one hour, and 10,000 shekels for telephone interviews up to one hour. Any additional time beyond an hour will cost 1,000 shekels per minute. He emphasized that these prices are firm.

He further elaborated that his opinions and experience are part of his work, and he should be compensated for them, especially when he might face criticism. "If I come to the studio to express my opinions and be a punching bag because of them, that also costs money. My time, my experience, and my opinion are part of my job. I'm tired of saying no," he concluded.
