Yaakov Buzaglo Sets Price for Interviews

Former Israeli footballer Yaakov Buzaglo has announced he will now charge for interviews, citing a need to be compensated for his time and expertise. Buzaglo, who has been less available for media appearances since leaving Israel, explained his decision in a Facebook post.

"I'm tired of saying no. From now on, there's just a price. I'm tired of saying no!" Buzaglo wrote. He expressed frustration with constant requests for interviews, stating that his time is not free and he needs to earn a living. "They keep contacting me and asking me to come to the studio for an interview, to sit, to talk, to express my opinion as if my time is worthless and as if I don't need to make a living," he added.

Buzaglo detailed his new rates: 15,000 shekels for an in-studio interview lasting up to an hour, and 10,000 shekels for a phone interview of the same duration. Any additional time beyond an hour will cost 1,000 shekels per minute. He emphasized that these prices are firm.

He further justified his decision by explaining that sharing his opinions and potentially facing criticism for them requires compensation. "If I come to the studio to express my opinions and be a punching bag because of them, that also costs money. My time, my experience, and my opinion are part of my work. I'm tired of saying no," he concluded.
