Former Israeli soccer player Jacob Buzaglo has announced he will now charge for interviews, citing the need to monetize his time and expertise. According to his post, Buzaglo will charge 15,000 Israeli shekels (approximately $4,000 USD) for an in-studio interview lasting up to one hour. For phone interviews, the fee will be 10,000 shekels (approximately $2,700 USD) for the same duration. Any additional time beyond the first hour will cost 1,000 shekels (approximately $270 USD) per minute.
Buzaglo explained that his time, experience, and opinions are valuable and part of his work. He also noted that he is often subjected to criticism for his views, which further justifies charging for his participation. He emphasized that these rates are firm and non-negotiable.
