Maccabi Tel Aviv Signs Rangers Star James Tavernier in Major Deal

Maccabi Tel Aviv announced on Monday the signing of James Tavernier, a prominent defender from Scottish club Rangers. His 21 European goals for Rangers matched the club record held by Ally McCoist. With 152 career goals, he became the highest-scoring defender in British football history.
