Belz Rebbe Hospitalized for Tests After Feeling Unwell
The Grand Rabbi of Belz arrived at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem on Sunday morning for medical tests after feeling unwell. The Rebbe did not attend the pre-dawn Selichot prayers at the synagogue, with his son, Rabbi Aharon Mordechai Rokeach, leading the prayers instead. The Selichot service began later than usual. Following the prayers, tens of thousands of Hasidim recited Psalms for the Rebbe's recovery. The public has been called upon to pray for the recovery of Rabbi Yissachar Dov, son of Miriam, among all the sick of Israel.
