Man Dies, Another Injured in Negev Single-Vehicle Crash
A 40-year-old man from Hura died and a 35-year-old man sustained minor injuries in a single-vehicle rollover accident that occurred late last night on a side road in the Lahav Forest, near the Lehavim junction in the Negev.
Paramedics from Magen David Adom were dispatched to the scene at 12:17 AM after receiving a report about the incident. Upon arrival, they found a severely damaged vehicle that appeared to have overturned. The 40-year-old victim was found outside the car with critical, multiple injuries, unresponsive and without a pulse. Medical personnel attempted resuscitation but were forced to declare him dead at the scene.
The second victim, aged 35, suffered minor bruises and was transported to Soroka Hospital in Be'er Sheva for further treatment. His condition was described as light.
