Man Shot Dead in Nazareth Following String of Fatalities
A man in his 30s was shot and killed in Nazareth on Thursday evening, becoming the fourth fatality in the city within the last 24 hours. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and provided initial treatment, transporting the victim to the city's Italian Hospital in critical condition while performing resuscitation efforts. His death was later confirmed.
"When we arrived at the scene, we were led to the man who was unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing," said Ala'a Aldin Bashir, a senior paramedic with Magen David Adom's motorcycle unit. "We immediately began advanced resuscitation efforts, including ventilation and administering medication, and evacuated him in an intensive care ambulance while continuing resuscitation to the hospital, his condition critical."
The police have launched an investigation into the shooting. Officers were dispatched to the scene to search for suspects and examine the circumstances of the incident. Authorities stated that the motive appears to be criminal and that the investigation is ongoing.
