Double Murder in Nazareth: Two Men Shot Dead in Vehicle
Two men, both around 30 years old, were killed in a shooting incident in Nazareth on Wednesday evening while they were inside a vehicle. Police have launched an investigation to apprehend the suspects. Shortly after the shooting, a burning vehicle was discovered in a nearby area. The motive is believed to be criminal, and searches for the shooters are ongoing.
The emergency services received the report at 7:04 PM. MDA (Magen David Adom) teams dispatched to the scene pronounced both men dead. MDA paramedic Ala Aldin Bashir described finding the two men "unconscious, without a pulse and without breathing, with severe penetrating injuries to their bodies." He added, "We performed medical examinations, but unfortunately, we had no choice but to determine their deaths."
This incident brings the total number of people murdered in the Arab community since the beginning of 2026 to 167. The most recent murder prior to this occurred on the night between Saturday and Sunday, when Muhammad Katwan from Jaljuliya was shot dead in Jaffa.
